Eve of Christmas

Eve of Christmas is a warm, family-friendly holiday film that hits many of the expected notes for its genre. It's not revolutionary, but it's sincere, reasonably well made, and has moments that will tug at the heartstrings, especially if you're a fan of music in Christmas stories. The second half redeems some of the slower and less compelling early sections, and while you may predict much of the story, that doesn't entirely stop it from delivering a cozy festive mood.

It's the night before Christmas Eve and everything seems to be falling into place for Dan's big romantic gesture. The only thing is, Dan didn't expect Santa to pay an early visit this year. I watched this short film a few years back. This film had a good idea behind it; a bad Santa, romance, the night before Christmas. The score from James Rogers was always good and the cinematography was pretty good too. The acting could have been better at times. Didn't seem right - the lead actor. Last active film by retired writer/director Simon Edwards who was known for Six Hot Chicks In a Warehouse (2017)
