    WTF

Weird. Wow. Terrifying. Amazing. Original. I've never experienced the like of this.

    Extremely Unsettling

I rarely leave reviews but this was one of the most incredible pieces of television I have ever seen. The episodes starts out a bit strange, but quickly becomes absolutely terrifying. I was sweating for nearly the entire runtime. Teddy's voice and appearance is the stuff of nightmares.

    Incredibly well done

I'm amazed at how good this episode was. I was gripped by it from the very first minute to the last. Creepy, suspenseful & sensitive. Great!

    Totally unexpected episode

The Teddy Perkins episode is a huge departure from all other episode. If this was an episode of The Twilight Zone, it would be one of the most memorable. Donald Glover has some strange things going on his mind. I'm glad that he has this show to let them out for us to see.

    Terrified

Donald Glover managed to create a terrifying yet hilarious episode that proves that he should make a horror movie. What an amazing episode. Also, what a powerful performance by Lakeith Stanfield. Atlanta just keeps getting better and better, and stranger and stranger.

    • Trivia
Donald Glover plays Teddy. It is said that he remained in character during the entire filming process. Many on set found it creepy and others had little to no clue it was in fact Donald Glover; he was even addressed as "Teddy" by the director and crew.
    • Quotes

Darius: You know, uh, not all great things come from great pain. Sometimes it's love. Not everything's a sacrifice.

Theodore 'Teddy' Perkins: Sacrifices are necessary, Darius.

Darius: Yeah, maybe. But your dad should have said sorry. I'm sorry. Shit. I went through daddy shit myself. But when you're young, you try to just... make it be okay and say everything's gonna be fine. And that's just, you don't know the difference, but... that don't give you an excuse to grow up and repeat the same shit over and over. It's like there's a, there's a "what if" factor. What if you would've been great at something else? Or you would've seen the love... instead of all the other shit, like Stevie.

      Theodore 'Teddy' Perkins: I'm sorry?

      Darius: Stevie Wonder.

Theodore 'Teddy' Perkins: Stevie had his own... sacrifices. He was blind.

Darius: Yeah but he wasn't blinded. He saw through his music.

Theodore 'Teddy' Perkins: That's beautiful... but wrong.
