Good episode, but seemed out of place in order

Steven Universe's "Sadie Killer" is a solid episode that explores a different side of Sadie's character, delivering a fun, music-centered storyline with a hint of rebellion. The episode focuses on Sadie as she finds a new outlet for her frustrations with her monotonous job at the Big Donut: joining a band with Steven and the Cool Kids. This allows Sadie's character to take a meaningful step forward, revealing her love for performance and giving her a chance to vent creatively.

One of the highlights of this episode is the catchy, spooky-themed song "Sadie Killer," which showcases Sadie's talent and feels fittingly edgy, adding depth to her character. The animation in this performance sequence is particularly enjoyable and helps convey the excitement Sadie feels in finding this new passion.

On the flip side, the episode does feel a bit predictable in its structure and resolution. It's clear from early on that Sadie will find her groove with the band, and while that's satisfying, the storyline lacks some of the emotional complexity that other Steven Universe episodes have explored. Additionally, viewers might wish there had been more focus on how this new path could impact Sadie's relationship with her mother or friends in future episodes.

Overall, "Sadie Killer" is a fun, character-driven episode that deserves a solid 7/10. It's not the most groundbreaking moment in Steven Universe, but it adds an enjoyable layer to Sadie's character arc and provides some catchy tunes along the way. Fans of Sadie will appreciate this spotlight episode, even if it doesn't reach the emotional heights of other entries in the series.
