Myrtle Snow visits Jeff and Mutt at Kineros Robotics and learns where Outpost 3 is located. She tells Mutt that Coco's father will buy four tickets Outpost that is sold out, but they will arrange a means to provide him the tickets. Meanwhile, Mallory asks Cordelia how they will stop the holocaust, but she answers that they cannot. Myrtle Snow explains that they will be hidden in Outpost 3 under an identity spell that will prevent Michael identifying them, and Coco will diminish Mallory to avoid raising suspicion. Mallory tells Cordelia that she does not know what to do, but Cordelia advises that she will know what to do when her powers emerge. After the holocaust, Myrtle, Cordelia and Madison dig out of the ground and they head to Outpost 3, when Cordelia revives Coco and Mallory. Dinah says that she will not help them, but Marie Laveau returns from hell and says that Dinah will replace her, working for Papa Legba. Cordelia explains that she made a deal with Papa Legba, exchanging Dinah's soul by Laveau, and the voodoo witch kills Dinah. Michael appears with Ms. Mead that points a machine gun to the witches to kill them, but Cordelia blows her up. Madison shots Michael with the machine gun and asks her sisters to flee. However, Brock stabs Mallory and is destroyed by Myrtle. Mallory is dying but Cordelia makes an ultimate sacrifice to bring her back to life and more powerful. Now Mallory travels to 2015 to stop Michael Langdon before he gets his powers. Will she succeed?
"Apocalypse Then" is a good conclusion of the Eighth Season of the "American Horror Story". The plot is well entwinned with previous seasons and explains details of the past seasons. The arrival of a new Antichrist in the end shows that the world will never get rid of evil. My vote is eight.

I think this series has been too mushy and soft all the way through.
The cast have done a brilliant job as they always do, but the story/production is the weakest to date.
I feel as though the storyline ended before it got started. It needed more 'oomph' in the writing, more excitement in the pivotal scenes. More drama and tension - all of which were missing this season.
It seems as though the writers have tried to concentrate on the emotional attachments of the characters, which has resulted in far too much reflective dialogue.
American Horror Story is supposed to be horror and suspense - not a soppy copy of 'Charmed'.
The writers really need to up their game if American Horror Story is to survive much longer.
The finale was very disappointing. Extremely weak and illogical - even for a fantasy.
Normally I would rate AHS at least a 7. This has got to be the lowest of all the seasons so far.

Thoroughly enjoyed this episode ! Wish they would have elaborated more on the ending, though.
3 out of 5 stars.
The season finale is a blood bath with the body count. The idea with them trying to stop Michael was actually entertaining. The direction was rushed and boring with the script. It was worth seeing.
Overall, AHS Apocalypse i will rate 2 out of 5 stars. The season started out great with an exciting opening episode. But falls flat with boring characters and story when they crossover with Coven and other seasons. The villain of the antichrist was creepy. And it picks up with the season finale with a shocking twist that comes full circle. This was a forgettable season that had a great concept but brought back the worst seasons of AHS to the cross over.

And you all thought you hated the ending to Roanoke (Which I actually prefer to this)
All those cameos were for nothing. Everything this show worked for, threw it away in the last 60 minutes of the season.
Too much going on , not enough time to explain. I was hoping for something more on the APOCALYPSE level...This was...domestic. What it makes it even worse was that this season was so promising. The other seasons were just bad through and through...But this...This had hope. They ruined it!

- TriviaSarah Paulson revealed that after they were done filming, she 'stole' the painting of Myrtle Snow from the set and it now hangs in her home.
- GoofsBefore Myrtle visits Jeff Pfister and Mutt Nutter, they say they have to reprogram the Battle Axe 9000 to not remember herself as a robot. Also, Myrtle commands that they allow Coco's family to purchase four seats on a plane to take them to the stronghold. However, Myrtle kills both of them before any changes are made. Yet, in the episodes, those changes are apparent.
