Sheldon and Tam make a new friend. Sheldon makes friends with an upperclassmen learning a new field of science. Meanwhile, George Sr. and Mary have a disagreement on Sheldon's new social life.
Sheldon and Tam are having lunch at the library, when they see a girl lunching alone. They befriend her and have lunch together. The girl is Libby, who loves geology and introduces the science to the boys.
