              Family Guy Manages HEART

This Family Guy episode is one of the only I've seen to genuinely offer some emotion. I teared up a little bit.

Brian and Stewie's A-plot is probably enough to make this my favourite episode of the show, but I thought Peter's B-plot was pretty uninteresting and didn't contribute very much to the episode. I would've liked some more time to focus on Brian and Stewie instead.

It was nice and interesting to see discussion about why Stewie is still holding onto some childish things despite being more intelligent than most people far older than him, and the last few scenes with Brian are definitely a highlight of the whole show.

              RIP Rupert I

A grab-bag. Some jokes hit: fist-bumping vultures. The pleasantries with the hikers. Some missed: periods are gross (I've never encountered anyone who thinks this). There were about three or four anal jokes for some reason. I know anuses are automatically funny, but they're not THAT automatically funny. Other material seemed kind of forced, like Chris' quinceanera business--yet another joke about something that is supposed to be ipso facto funny.

But the premise of the show is a good one. Brian chews up Rupert. It's one of those simple and natural story ideas that somehow no one ever thought of before. And the emotions behind it were interesting. So the basic elements for a great show were there. I think all that was missing was the execution. Too bad. Could've been a classic.

              Emotional

I always like seeing Brian and Stewie together. This episode showed how sweet Brian can be, even tho he is a deuce sometimes. The side story with Peter brought balance into this episode BUT I would've like this more if it was more like the "Road to" episode which mainly focus on Brian and Stewie.

I actually cried at the end. This may sound a bit stupid but I physically felt the ending. It really hit where it needed to hit me and I get that feeling very rarely nowadays.

              ❤ Very heartwarming ❤

              one of the better episodes

I always find family guy to be something i just watch waiting for something to happen, it's mostly just filler that leaves no memorable moments apart from the stewie and briand episodes even those aren't very serious any more it's just ehh most of the time and rarely plotdriven, but i like the characters and animation so i watch it, this episode however suprised me it felt very much like a movie and unlike most family guy episodes i have seen in a very long time, it's one of the best episodes i have seen of family guy, it didn't feel like a random filler with boring jokes it actually felt like a story it was very un family guy.

              Beautiful Brian and Stewie Episode

This episode was really heartfelt and made me tear up at the ending. The side plot with Peter was also amusing and lighthearted. I loved the part about Joe's bitmoji being able to walk. Great job Seth MacFarlane and friends.

When Brian and Stewie are physically fighting, Stewie gets pushed and slides down a cliff, ending 5 seconds later with a broken ankle. Brian says he'll get them back up the hill, but then they proceed to hike up for over an hour at least. Big difference from how far he fell to how far "back up" they went.

Joe Swanson: We gotta get him to wash that hand.

Cleveland Brown: Yeah. I'll text Lois, see if we all can come up with something.

Glenn Quagmire: Just reply to the last gif of the sloth putting on the headphones.

Joe Swanson: [laughs] I love that one. Is it weird we're in a group text with our friend's wife, but not our friend?

Glenn Quagmire: No, what's weird is that your bitmoji can walk.

Joe Swanson: I'm allowed to have legs in a phone world!
