Cheesy
A film that starts well but quickly the plot becomes highly predictable, it's a bit like Gaslight without a decent script, direction and acting.
The male at the centre of the love triangle truly is a terrible actor, whose performance is like colour by numbers, highly predictable and wooden.
It's not bad, it's not good either. Could have done with more work on the script and production.
lack of respect
I agree with all the bad reviews. However, I need to say that the actor who played Alex was really outstanding in his bad manner of acting. The plot was, like most of reviewers said, hardly plausible. They do not have any respect for their viewers, probably they think we are all idiots.
What most contributors said!
Lifetime at it in a typical way! A seriously stupid plot! Must be a blond thing for someone to marry someone only after two months of dating. One contributor accurately highlighted all the ridiculous scenes very accurately! Helena and her real life sister Sofia must have been desperate for money to accept roles!!!!
back to the lame, packaged pap I thought LMN had left behind
The story is almost unwatchable - plot points so unbelievable and telegraphed so blatantly! The acting isn't much better, though I'm not sure how much freedom the actors had. The ending 'reveal' is completely unsurprising and doesn't help explain the characters behavior
Utter tripe.
Once again I'm plonked in front of the TV, getting over a cold and watching tripe. Normally films shown in the afternoon have a reasonable plot, but this film is just implausible nonsense. I can think of no redeeming features, one to avoid.
