Joe's Perfect World Starts to Crack - You S1E8 Review

This episode was intense! At this point, Joe is starting to lose control, and you can feel how desperate he's getting to keep everything together. Beck is starting to notice that something's off, which makes things super tense between them. What I liked is how the whole episode feels like it's building toward something big. Every conversation has that "something isn't right" vibe. The scenes with Dr. Nicky add even more drama because now Beck has someone to talk to, and that makes Joe freak out even more. Joe's narration is crazy here - he still tries to sound like the good guy, but you can tell he's slipping further into his obsession. Beck, on the other hand, is showing some independence, which makes the dynamic even better. This is one of the best episodes so far. It's dark, it's tense, and it sets up the finale. Rating- 9.5/10 - So good, but also kind of stressful to watch!

    Re-Attraction!

So the train is back on track again and this time it looks good for both but will it remain the same or the things will get bad again?

You came back again and that old love awoke in my mind.

    You Season 1 Episode 8

Review : In reviewing this, I would like to say that this episode is better than the previous ones. There is a romantic and sexual element in this episode that makes this episode so much better. I can't say this episode is great but good enough. The rest of the things I discussed below about this episode.

Acting : All the actors and actresses have shown good manners in this episode as well as in every other episode. The perseverance and responsibility that they have in their work is truly commendable.

Direction : The director's role in the episode is really commendable. The director has performed well enough in his role. He has done well enough with all the actors and actresses.

Story and Dialogue : When it comes to the story of this episode, first of all I would say that the storytellers of this episode have written good enough and romantic and sexual stories. This episode tells a story that tells the story that love awakens in the mind no matter how many years after meeting the old lover. In this episode it is very clear that love is very selfish, very bad and understands nothing but ourselves, but still we love love the most. This episode is good enough to mean dialogue has been used. Many of these dialogues are very deep, very romantic and very sensual. The kind of dialogue we see at the end of this episode is very good.

Soundtrack and Background score : Unlike other episodes, this episode did not use any soundtrack. Like every other episode, this one has a fairly good, fitting and high quality background score.

Cinematography and Editing : The cinematography is good enough and the editing is good enough. Many thanks from me to the cinematography and editing team for gifting us with such an excellent episode.

Other Departments : Many thanks from me to VFX, Location, Sound Designing, Lighting and all the other departments. It was because of their hard work that I was able to witness such a beautiful episode today.

Overall Episode : Judging by all, I gave this episode eight out of ten stars.

Thanks so much for reading my review.

    Love, Drugs and Housewarming Parties...

Three months after what happened between Joe and Beck in the previous episode, Joe and Karen bump into each other Beck on a late night walk around the block which sparks a new light between Joe and Beck and gets them to talk again.

Both of them separately continue to visit Dr. Nicky to try and see their problems and he uses his metaphoric genius to make them understand what is going on.

An accident at home also provokes Joe to help Karen with the situation and he still looks after Paco.

The episode is great yet again with Penn Badgley portraying Joe really well and Elizabeth Lail as Beck playing the role extremely well.

This is one of the best episodes yet.

    • Trivia
Beck's new book, Blackbird by Michael Fiegel, is about a male cold-blooded killer who gets together with a young woman who is also a sociopath.
    • Goofs
It is three months after Joe and Beck broke up, which was some time in December. That means it's no later than March. But the trees are all full of leaves as though it were later in the season, not buds and blossoms as one would expect to see that time of year.
