Typical low standard Bollywood movie. Jimmy Shergil is absolutely fantastic as always. Denzil Smith is very impressive as a villain in his appearance and delivery, however he had nothing much to do. Sonakshi Sinha is a poor actor. You will never understand who is doing what in the movie and why. To sum-up this movie is a wastage of time and money.
The first movie was funny but it lacked the narratives necessary to entertain the audience to certain extents. Diana Penty is a decent actress with potential but these dreadful scripts she accepts will just put her through a vulnerable situation.
So basically a mix up occurs with 2 Happy Singhs played by Sonakshi Sinha and Diana Penty. Happy (Sonakshi Sinha) is a college professor who travels to Shanghai not to mention the fact upon arrival, she ends up being kidnapped misconception wise and then the other Happy (Diana Penty) who is happily married to Guddu from the previous film and along with the 1st Happy, Bagga and the Pakistani policeman Afridi get abducted as well.
Mudassar Aziz is known to make very average of somewhat films starting with Dulha Mil Gaya. The writing lacked substance and the plot just became a reuslted predictable mess. It can be very substantially dangerous for entertaining the audience with chinese people speaking proper and accurate Hindi. The dialogues were cheesy and the inadequacy of it just made it worse.
Sonakshi Sinha plays Happy #1 known as the mistaken one. Her acting managed to do some justice in parts but other than that, she has no potentiality as an actress even if Rajkumar Hirani or Vishal Bhardwaj casted her.
Jassie Gill is a phenomenal **drumroll** singer, not an actor. He was just there for making a quick buck on set.
Jimmy Shergill gave the same exact performance as Bagga from the previous film and he was above average to my expectations
Diany Penty appears for 60% of the film but no justice there
Piyush Mishra is definitely and undoubtedly one of the worst performers in the acting department. His acting feels like he is a asthma patient fighting for this life in the hospital based on his speech impairing.
Music has no color despite Chin Chin Chu which is a cute recreation of the old song
Overall, just an ordinary predictable comedy so wait until it comes on TV or Netflix
2/5 - No need for a sequel

If you have expectation after watching part one, you'll be disappointed for sure.
The person who is missed from the beginning is Abhay ....can't imaging the movie without him. Dianna was better then Sonakshi
Jimmy and Piyush Mishra are always outstanding.
Jassi Gill deserves more roles, he proved he can act and do comedy. The storyline was really forced and unoriginal and the entire movie was racist towards China. India needs to catch up to the times because the cheap jokes don't work on the smarter audiences nowadays.
This is a sequel to the film Happy Bhag Jayegi. While the first was set in Pakistan, this one takes place in China. The characters from the first movie are back as well, but the story revolves around a different Happy and her aide in China.
The entertainment factor in the movie is the comic conversations between Jimmy Shergill and Piyush Mishra. And the whole plot pretty much is put together around that, albiet with lot of loopholes. However, comedy at times is just slapstick. Sonakshi leaves no impact as the lead protagonist, leaving audience with not enough motive to root for her to come out of her troubles.
Sad attempt to recreate the success of the first film. Just not enough in it for the audience.
