I Need You

The sabbath scene is one of the most well-shot things I've ever seen. That scene alone makes this episode an incredible introduction for this weird masterpiece of a series.

Genuinely don't understand why this (and the first few episodes) are so low rated. I wouldn't go and say this episode should be a 9.0+ or anything but the plot + animation I feel like at least warrants somewhere in the low 8.0 range. The visual style is really cool, the soundtrack is really cool, and the sabbath scene was an absolute banger. Overall I'd give this episode an 8.4/10. My only complaint was that the animation was a little choppy at times but other than that I don't see any massive flaws that could cause such a a low rating for the episode. If this is what a 7.5 looks like I can't wait for the 9.1 at the end of the series.
