I can't relate to all the personal, negative comments directed at the host. The narrator and/or host is important, but I don't care whether they are her cases or not or if she (allegedly) has a shady past. She doesn't bring that to the show & IMO is 1 of the most subtle hosts I've seen. Even her voice & makeup are subtle, unlike other hosts. I actually like her interview style & the way she personalizes some of the questions. It shows an empathy that is missing with many narrators & hosts & draws out strong, honest reactions from the interviewees. I do not lose sleep over whether she really means it deep down inside. I'm here for the cases & victims.
The cases on this show are very interesting & haven't been covered to death. More importantly, they talk to all the people involved in the crimes, down to witnesses, 911 operators, neighbors, etc & don't do all the dumb, long re-enactment scenes w/actors. Give me the real victims & heroes of each case every time please!

Presentation is great and stories are very touching. I have watched pretty much all the true crime documentaries available and I'm not sure why such negative reviews. Presentation and story lines keep me interested.
I fail to understand why she is 'hosting' this series.
the cases are solved.
her questions bring no additional insight - they could have taken anyone narrating this.
I think she should have built on her own cases as a premise for this.
i'm asking myself, why the hell, as a former homicide prosecutor! is she doing this now? the only logical explanation for me would be: it's her hobby? & bc she is married to the channel-boss.... idk.... - i wouldn't recommend it...and i watch A LOT of crime-s***

I guess he will sit on death row for the rest of his life because our failed judicial system don't like to put people who deserve it, to be put to death.
I have a request for this peckerhead. If they do actually decide to put him down, please publicize it so we can all watch and applaud when it happens.
Pretty good show. A lot of the criticism seems to be personal, directed at Anna-Sigga Nicolazzi, rather than the show itself: complaints that she gets too much screen time, reviewers questioning why her own past cases aren't presented (which surely wouldn't please the people who think the show's already too much about her), and accusations that she would be glad to lock up an innocent person as long as it was a personal victory for herself (zero evidence to back that up). And finally, the complaints that the show is just boring, with zero excitement. Hmm, I just watched an episode where the killers attempted to slaughter an entire family, stabbed the mother 11 times, shot a grandfather in the face, put a pillow over the face of the husband and shot him twice in the head, and finally shot a little baby behind the ear... yawn, yeah, very boring. I could be wrong, but I suspect that at least some of these complaints might have something to do with the fact Anna is a very attractive woman. People can be funny.
I enjoy the one-on-one's with victims and law enforcement officials. It makes it all very much more personal to see just how much the lives of these people are effected by these crimes, and that much more satisfying when the killers are brought to justice. Two thumbs up!
