What could have been a mild watchable thriller turns into a light, frustratingly unserious TV drama.

This movie is an absolute trainwreck. I thought it was a p*rno based on the cheesy lines and total lack of commitment to the characters, BUT IT'S NOT. If you want to feel better about yourself, watch this movie immediately and you will walk away seeing how bad things really could be. 10 stars because it's so bad it's entertaining. Would recommend you watch while inebriated. And if you watch it with friends, come with your absolute best roasts, because you'll have the opportunity to use them all. There is definitely a place in this world for entertaining drivel, and this movie carries the banner.

I've never reviewed a movie before but, if I can spare anyone else from wasting their time, my work here is done, as they say.

This movie just came on automatically after another I was streaming on finished. I don't think even Lifetime would've aired it. And I won't be finishing it.

Looked up the movie title to see who was responsible for the writing and directing, Fred Olen Ray, then I checked out his bio.

"His early career was filled with low-budget horror and science-fiction films, but the market eventually dried up and he switched to producing softcore "T&A" videos of the type shown late at night on Showtime and Cinemax. His films rarely cost more than $500,000..."

That explains A LOT.

The bio included this quote of his re low-budget filmmaking: "Making movies is never really been that much fun. The two best days of making a movie is the day you get the financing and the wrap party. And everything between is a pain in the (expletives deleted). You always have to compromise. You can't do exactly what you want to do."

And that explains the rest.

I only watched this because I'm a fan of Daphne Zuniga. This film was a solid waste of about an hour and a half of my life. Either these are the worst actors or the writing and directing was bad enough to make good actors seem like they couldn't act. I hope the latter is the case because Like I said, I'm a fan of Daphne Zuniga.
