    Pretty bad acting

The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because some of the woods in the dark parts are scary. I suggest you start the film at 34 minutes and stop it at an hour at ten minutes.

So an idiot goes camping alone...

If you've ever spent any time in the woods this movie is comedy gold. If you haven't, take my word for it this is comedy gold. An urbanite goes into the woods for 6 days for inspiration to write a "great novel". He hears noises. He gets scared. He runs and screams. A lot. Oh, his girlfriend thinks this is a horrible idea. She's the only smart character in this preposterously inane script. We get the requisite "is anyone there?" yells, the random talk to the camera scenes, the "how the hell are those batteries lasting so long?" thoughts, and of course, the quotation of scripture (yep) from a character who made no mention of religion previously. This is pretty lousy. It gets two stars for being unintentionally hilarious.

PS: Spoilers??? What is there to spoil??? Take this man's camera. Forever.

    No technique basically

Long time didn't see such selfie movie. It's totally no technique but worst is what the hell is the storyline? I can only see a moron speaking himself. The nothing title match the movie. Nothing to watch there , skip !

"The Nothing" sure is an appropriate title for this void of garbage

They were trying to create some sort of Shakespearian "Descent into madness" theme, but these writers, my friend, are no Shakespeare. If you enjoy over an hour of a chubby guy breaking down like a wimp and crying, with the occasional interlude of "hearing things" and with literally no monster view payoff in the end, then this is your lucky day! Otherwise, avoid this garbage. It is a moralizing flop, and they did not even reward the viewer with a monster sighting. I mean, a guy in a furry monster suit would have been better than nothing!
