Season 6 is delivering in spades. Each episode just ratchets up the tension and offers no end of plausible suspects/theories. The links with prior series's are genius. Life will be so dull in two weeks time. Please let there be a season 7.
Another cliffhanger with intense loud music at the end to add to the suspense.
Another strong episode after a dull start to the series.
Perhaps the script benefitted from the Covid break in filming.
Only a 9 though as I still miss the scenes from the first series of seeing the Wmpte buses going down Broad St. In Birmingham.
Belfast does look nice but it's not the west midlands.

This season is fantastic!!! Watching in the US and it's so hard to wait a week between episodes!! Episodes 4 and 5 have been among the best in the entire series!!
Talk about intense, this rollercoaster series just went up another notch, how on Earth have they maintained this standard for a three episode run, this once again, was exceptional.
The face from the past, that was unexpected, and proved to be an irresistible twist, and by the end of the episode I was absolutely exhausted, fatigued mentally and physically, absolutely outrageous drama, you think you can breathe easily, and then you're given...
....That ending, when I thought it couldn't get any more intense, any more dramatic, they give us THAT ending, my heart was in my mouth.
Outrageous, everything is falling apart. 10/10.

I'm generally a pretty chill person but this episode had me screaming at the tv by the end. To tell a smart and engaging story like this with interweaving plotlines and threads unfolding over many years while still maintaining genuinely thrilling action from episode to episode is incredible.

- TriviaJames Nesbitt originally lied about his role as DCI Marcus Thurwell to throw viewers off the scent. He said he was sad he never got a part in the show. When seen filming he simply said he was filming a scene for Bloodlands (2021) which was filmed in the same area and executive produced by Line of Duty writer Jed Mercurio.
- GoofsThe murder investigation team sets off to warehouse location #2 in two vans and two BMW 5 series G31 estate cars. During the journey one of the BMWs is briefly substituted for an earlier model BMW 5 series E61 estate, before switching back again as they arrive at the warehouse.
