I think this musical episode gets right what other shows get wrong, the writers place the songs and story together in a way that the musical scores are not cringy or feel out of place, I really liked the episode paying tribute to David bowie, it wawasvery good for a musical episode which mostly I can not stand but this one I give credit it deserves it and that is coming from someone who hates musicals.

I think this might be my most favorite episode of the series thus far. This has to be the best Fantasy/Adventure show on TV.

I've been binging the show up until this point (brief pause to review this episode) and wanted to say that it was this episode that brought me to finally review. It was wonderful in so many ways. Usually an episode is marred by a long music score but this actually improved upon it for a change. Well done director James L. Conway, in my opinion one of your bests.

Pure treat is this episode... Really enjoyed it. As always this show keeps surprising me. It's purely magical😀

I was pleasantly surprised how the cast pulled off the musical format. The choice of song(no spoiler) and tying it to each characters personality was spot on. Despite a few missses, The Magicians continues to impress in its delivery of magic and fantasy for us sci fi heads.
