Taxiwaala is a supernatural thriller with some comedy. It is also kind of scary. I like Matte Vinaduga and Ladies and Gentlemen song. Vijay Devarakonda did great. I also like the taxi concept where a passenger seat has spirit in it. There were some frightening scenes and as I watching in theaters I felt unsure if I should watch it or not. The frightening scenes were an experience tho. Rahul Sankrityan has executed the film well. Heroine Priyanka did good but she had limited role but Malavika played significant role tho. I am also fan of Vijay Devarakonda. A supernatural thriller comedy movie well made.
Plus: Vijay Devarakonda, Rahul's vision, narration, songs, taxi concept, comedy Minus: Overdose of frightening scenes.

Glad to see telugu industry changing from fan biased mass masala entertainers to experiments.Taxiwaala is a movie based on astral projection directed in an entertaining method mixed with romance and comedy. The movie is made for all kind of audience and a good time pass.
Music and background score is backbone of the movie. Hats off to Jake's for beautiful work. And although its a debut Rahul's direction is flawless.
Vijay as usual rocked in the movie by doing his best to what character demands. As Vijay mentioned in event.. Hollywood role in movie is hilarious..overall, it's a good science fiction movie which Telugu audience has never before experienced.
In a nutshell, Bottomline is People who are not tired of routine hero centric movies are welcome to hate this movie in a very usual manner

Vijay Devarakonda's taxiwala is a refreshing horror movie which deals with some future possibilities. The scientific aspect of the movie has been done smoothly so that the audience won't feel disconnected but they can enjoy it easily. There are many comedy scenes also in this movie which have got good quality humor. Story of the movie is simple but effective, camera work is good, when it comes to the performances everyone did well. Though the movie deals with a horror concept it did not frighten the audience very much so those who does not like horror movies can also give it a try.
A nice movie which can be watched with the whole family.

First of all the entire credits should go to director and writer for coming with this type of concept. Though the story was bit familiar but the Astral projection was something tollywood never knew and this makes Taxiwala an interesting one.Particularly the first half was passable with few thrills and spills and second half stands out big time , the flashback portion was explained in a neat and detailed manner and the pre-climax was hillarious with feel good climax . As always VD rocked his role and others in their roles. Music and camera work were neat and good.
Overall it's a decent watch.
