I really enjoy this series. It's researched, it's brand new, and ISN'T REALITY TVBS!!! I rated it a 9/10. He touches on everything from sinkholes and AI to life after death and alien encounters. It's a great nod to Leonard Nimoy and his series of the 70s. I grew up eating this kind of show with a spoon. This self affirmed nerd LOVES this show. Don't be that judgemental artist that stands in the back with your arms crossed pretending not to enjoy! Watch it knowing they obviously took care with this show and did preserve it's integrity.
We watch this show repeatedly as a family. The emotion from Zachary is tangible and his delivery of the information is on point. These topics are a little 'sensationalized" for your viewing pleasure but what current show is not? It is a marvelous idea of continuing the "Spock" role as the delivery method for messages that many do not want to hear and often are for the first time. We DO live in a world of Magick. We DO live in a world of hate and superiority issues. Many topics Zachary touches on cover this very thing as well as a variety of other curious subjects.
A modern Spock, for a modern world. We look forward to more!

A good 7.5, at least.
I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the negative votes for this series is from the lunatic fringe - upset that the topic subjects were revealed as "disproven".
Because of that skepticism not edited out, thereby leaving belief or dismissal to the viewer, I will continue watching!

As one reviewer wrote, he/she thought that negative reviewers were people that didn't get the validation from this show they hoped for. I am not one of those. I am a skeptic, I demand proof before I believe anything. but the first episode I saw of this new version, Time Travel, two photos of "time travelers" are shown, and both photos have already thoroughly been debunked.
if the show is going to use shoddy research and debunked information, why should I waste my time?
Leonard Nimoy had better researchers on his show before there was an Internet. It fails to keep my interest and I like Zachary Quinto, just he should do some real research too. I want the show to try to explain "The Coral Castle" in Florida City , Fla. How a 90 pound man made coral sculptures , 10-20 ton Sculptures, Edward Leedskalin. What's more remarkable is he did this all with a simple block and tackle, yet he even said "The Egyptians had it all written out, you can do it too." Research it as this is a modern man moving pyramid blocks and shaping them! No size was too big, he also wrote a book on magnetism that reads similarly hard to comprehend to Eisteins Theory of Relativity! This isn't centuries in the past, this is modern times. Do the story and the research. In Search of ...Answers not pseudo-science like Mr Tachyon
