Compared to previous movies of this hero-director combo, this one sucks big time. the comedy lacks in first half . But the main headache comes with the irrelevant flashback scenes which was forcefully inserted in the movie. Better siva could have opted another historic movie instead of bringing that irrelevant story in to this movie. Samantha looks very beautiful. watch only if you have plenty of free time and if yu are a samantha fan.

Seema raja is the third attempt by ponram with Sivakarthikeyan, Soori and Imman trio. The director believed in comedy which didn't work out. The movie is slow and the dialogues don't impress us. Some characters are seeming to be extras in the film. There is no strong villain element too. The historical part has come out so well but doesn't fit in the film. We couldn't see Sivakarthikeyan as a mass hero and he also didn't convince us to believe so. Samantha has impressed us with her Silambam skills. Soori has worked hard and has six-packs in the movie, but the screen play couldn't elevate his scene. Cinematography has been handled nicely in the film. Locations in a duet song catches our eyes. Songs are normal and not so much catchy. There are many logical flaws in the movie. The social message about agriculture has been squeezed into the movie. We could see the hard work of the whole team in the historical part. Best of luck for the next film team.

Movie is fun but felt too long, same old story from Tamil cinema, flashback story is good but unwanted for this movie. Had to say this formula not working for Siva, he has choose different subject.

An usual entertainer from SK. The only difference is that the movie looks like a mixture of most of the tamil movies. First half was totally spoiled with not working idiotic comedy scenes and introductions. Kadambavel Raja's characterisation and the whole flashback sequence was somewhat watchable. Camera work was fabulous. Overall, it can be watched once when someone wants to kill time.
