    She's An Award-Winning Producer? Really?

Given the supposed professional stature of the subject, I'd expected so much more from this- instead it feels like an icky, gross tabloid retelling.

On a more personal note- this woman is my age, but she looks twice as old, trying to look half the age; too much makeup, too much Botox, too much narcissism.

There's so much effort placed into name dropping, like everyone should just know who these people are, or even care. Maybe it's to try and make us 'little people' jealous, but it just comes off as pretentious and condescending.

You walk away from this with many thoughts; astonishment at the willingness to be duped so deeply, the disregard for common sense at every turn, disgust at dragging a child into this complete and utter train wreck of an horrific tragedy. But most of all, stunned at the casualness that actual victims that lost family to this duplicitous doctor who lied in order to experiment on unsuspecting people thinking he'd save their lives, and aren't even casually mentioned until halfway through this, well, whatever this is.

This egomaniac and her cabal of 'friends' who couldn't bring themselves to tell their friend suspicions and accusations, are so busy blaming this villain they couldn't bring themselves to point the finger at themselves for being so blinded by celebrity, by vast wealth, and by a wish to believe that outweighed the ability to be rational.

This person chose to quit her job, to spend money, and most importantly to drag her child into this horrific situation ignoring every single flaming red flag- which she has the audacity to conflate to being on par with the patients. No really. These people fell actual victim due to medical malpractice; trusting physicians who were duped by him, but had no part in being a victim- she gleefully and giddily went along with the charade, despite claiming to be a journalist, possessing reasonable investigative skills.

Doctors will always protect their own- that's not surprising. 'That's what medical malpractice is for!!', they claim, they'll still claim he's a brilliant surgeon and I wouldn't allow him to operate on my worst enemy's pet gerbil. But this debacle was well within her ability to discern and suss out, she's just chose to become a willing accomplice, dragging her child along the path.

STOP COMPARING YOURSELF TO ACTUAL, TRAGIC VICTIMS, you didn't have to fall down his rabbit hole, and you certainly didn't have to be such an utter dupe.

What a waste of time to watch. Dateline did a much better version of this without being so drenched in narcissism.

I don't know how one could make this subject so tedious

The documentary maker took a wicked and mysterious character and chose to make this about herself and her reactions. Falling for and being disappointed by this charmer is only one small aspect of story; more questions should have been asked of his employers and their vetting processes. Professionally he was a disaster.

Diamonds are a girl's best friend

A woman who actually cares and worries more about her wedding , ring , wedding gown more than ethics in medicine and journalism. I just couldn't finish the show because it was like a bad soap opera

How could anyone go along with this ??

Firstly , on a personal observation , girl , you absolutely need a makeover. That hideous under eye makeup , the obvious heavy Botox , that absurd VERY heavy makeup AND that over-dyed silly black hair says it all. Wake up to the real world! You are no longer 21 !!!

This pathetic documentary shows that some have no idea of reality (or even care) just go for whatever they can get , no matter how totally ridiculous it sounds along the way.

Some of the utter nonsense that was fed to many people in this and they seemed to have possibly believed ........ well it's absurd. Everyone deserved what they got , other than those poor sad patients who passed away. RIP.

    The problem with journalism

This illustrates that journalists today believe what they want to believe and don't really investigate anything. How many red flags does someone need?
