I don't know what's wrong with people rating this episode so low (1s &.2s??!?!?). Really? A friggin' 1?? Come on! Everyone saying nothing happens in this episode. Lots of stuff happens, I can't go into what but trust me, a lot of character development plus the story really arcs amidst this episode. Okay so it's not bullet and drug fueled. My only beef is the heavy handed religious mumbo jumbo coming out of several characters mouths. I gave it an 8......1! Sheesh!!
I consider this the first bad episode of the series although I did think the last two episodes of season one you had to somewhat suspend your disbelief. The major transition is that season one was packed with suspense and you felt like scenarios kept escalating and the characters were well written. At this point it just seems like they are trying to tie up loose ends or wrote themselves into a corner. The storyline woth Mason was hard to believe and very boring. Ruth's transition into helping her father again after what happened to her is pretty weak as well. Usually I watch a full episode completely through but this episode I watched over a 5 day period because I was so disinterested. I can only hope this was a fluke and the show continues on as good as it could be from what made it good at the beginning. Otherwise overall the series has great acting character development and cinematography but this episode was pretty garbage.
Nothing like breaking bad, the scene of kidnapping was dragging too long, talk so many bs, and not to mention how weak is Marty compared to his wife lol.
Excelente episodio y una gran tensión generada, no entiendo el porque tanto odio a este episodio, sin dudas el mejor.
What a snooze fest of an episode. It felt like it lasted forever and nothing got accomplished

Wendy Byrde: They tell you Adam and Eve knew that they could eat from every single tree in that garden, except one. But the truth is, evil comes when the righteous path is so hidden it just looks like there's only one way out. The truth is Adam and Eve probably grabbed that apple because they were fucking starving, and it was the first tree they saw.
