    Well worth watching. Good storytelling.

    The multi-story format works well here, combining politics, old loves, new (potential) loves.

    We are now just four episodes away from the Season Eight wrap-up (viewing on British TV in late 2025).

    The DA team do a good job and the detectives are diligent. Multiple story themes maintain the interest.

    It is likely that Jamie and Eddie are inching towards an acknowledgement of matters between themselves (which will come into sharp focus in S08Ep22).

    Really ?

    It is acceptable, to believe that an actor is something based on the parts they play ?

    John Wayne played cowboy many times over, but rumour has it, that he was afraid of horses, and couldn't ride very well.

    Clint Eastwood has played a real hardass many times, it is said he is a tough guy, who gives no quarter, but that he is also kind to children and likes animals.

    Where am i going with this ?

    I have now seen Lorraine Bracco in several different films and series, including this series/episode, and she always seems like such a dummy. Of the face palm cringe variety.

    My question is, is she really that dumb ? Or just good at portraying dummies ?

    Worst actor for mayor EVER!

    I loved this episode. But! the one that they got to play mayor, is the worst actor I ever seen.

    Purple Off-the-Shoulder dress on mayor - Oh Brother!!!! πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„

    About 20 minutes.into this episode, the "mayor" goes into the PC's office in an off-the-shoulder dress which is categorized by ANYONE with ANY fashion sense, a COCKTAIL dress! Ridiculous wardrobe choice!!! Just an unrealistic choice for a business woman and especially someone who's (POORLY acted) supposedly a "mayor" is just stupid!! Ugh!
