A bit tricky, but grows on you.

A bit tricky, but grows on you. Because it shifts seamlessly between current action and events 20 years ago, you have to pay attention, but your attention is well rewarded with a tantalizing plot and great acting. Far superior to many of the shows offered by Netflix.

Well worth your time

I had to watch the first episode twice to understand what was happening, but that's okay. Some shows I can't stand to see even once. The show tells two connected stories twenty years apart at the same chalet in the French Alps. There are a lot of characters and a lot of subtlety. Pay close attention and don't be afraid to rewind or pause or even watch the episode a seond time. Good acting and good writing make for a good investment of your time.
