Homelander has x-ray vision & super hearing power.surely He can hear translucent talkin to hugh inside as well as Frenchies accelerAted beating heart.
Second thought ,why would hugh kill trans at all? He gave them the info he was seeking . Also hugh mentioned earlier he wasn't a murderer.

Another fantastic episode. To say it was only an hour, the story telling was incredibly tight. The Annie storyline continues to be very well written. Of course the standout of this episode had to be the girl in the alley storyline. According to the logic of Corporate, Starlight's actions are only morally justified so long as her reputation stays in tact. At this point in the story it's clear that the superheroes aren't vigilantes at all - they've become corporatised, and turned into empty idols, devoid of any morality or anything of substance.

Here's a review for episode 2:
---
Episode 2 of The Boys keeps the momentum going and then some! The plot thickens, and we start seeing more of how messed up Vought and these "heroes" really are. The tension between Hughie and Butcher is so good, especially as Hughie grapples with how far he's willing to go. Starlight's story hits hard too-her struggle with the reality of being a superhero is so raw and relatable. The writing is razor-sharp, and the action scenes? Insane! Every moment feels so unpredictable, and the pacing is just perfect. It's edgy, dark, and so addictive. Two episodes in, and I'm fully hooked!

Wow how can you not love this thank you to everyone making these types of shows for the adult fans of comics.. it's fun and a little dark.
The second episode was slower paced but it was still a good episode and made a lot of fun to watch. I definitely want to watch more of it now. And I hope it stays good.

- TriviaIn the comics, Billy Butcher is the leader of a CIA-backed organization called 'The Boys.' In the show, he's an independent contractor... meaning he officially works for no one... and has no government protection or support.
- GoofsIt is not possible to short out a car battery by throwing half a glass of urine at it. Even if the liquid should form a continuous conductor (which is beyond unlikely) it would simply heat up and evaporate. It takes more than a minute for a car battery to destroy itself even if you drop a metal wrench onto the pole pieces and it gets welded in place there by the arc (which is a thing that does indeed happen). Obviously, a wrench makes a far more efficient and resilient conductor.
