The episode continues with the boys trying to surveillance A-Train. But they find a new drug which may enhance their powers.
The story continues. It tries to have that fun direction seeing the boys trying to work together and surveillance A-Train's girlfriend. While Homelander is wanting to find out who was responsible for the disappearance of one of their own.

Here's a review for episode 3:

Episode 3 of The Boys cranks everything up a notch! The stakes feel so real now, especially with how Hughie's moral compass is being tested. That scene with the Translucent "situation" was absolutely wild-I did not see that coming. Butcher's charisma and grit keep stealing the show, and the way the team is starting to form is super compelling. On the other side, Homelander is terrifyingly unhinged, and it's chilling to watch. The blend of dark humor and gut-punch drama is still on point. Every scene just hits harder than the last. This episode is pure chaos in the best way, and I'm loving every second!

We get more insight into the corporation and into the superheroes. Some truths about them are surfacing. Has one really gruesome scene. Yup that was shocking. I still feel like the dialogue isn't i guess the smoothest. I found the funny scenes not that funny.
A fine episode again. I liked the investigation aspect of the story mixed with all the other aspects: new team members, sports events, media, crime fighting, sex and of course death. Works very nicely with a lot going on.
The Boys has been popping up for me from the beginning in the form of various memes, or in discussions generally about movies and series, with responses usually being positive. So I gave it a chance yesterday and now I am writing my opinions under episode 3, because I watched 3 episodes in one breath. Yes, the series is quite captivating and good. The action, brutality, humor but mainly the satire so far is excellent and I am curious where it will develop further. I must say, the storyline from the point of view of Starlight is very well processed. I enjoy hating the corporate fools she has to face.
