I watch a lot of stand up. I laughed at almost every joke. Ray's jokes are about his family. Relateable topics that most families have. His timing is on spot. I loved the entire show. I can't wait to share this show with my Millieneal children. I know they will love it. I hope to see another one in the near future. Thanks Ray. Glad to finally be able to see your stand up. It was a treat.
Stellar Show! My husband and I really laughed a lot during this show! I was curious if Ray Romano would be a funny stand up now. I wasn't a big fan of his sitcom, but I love his more recent acting. This show is excellent! It's really well written and expertly delivered.
In contrast, to some of the other reviews, I really liked the parts of the show that weren't on stage. I think it made him seem more authentic and I especially appreciate the reveal at the very end!
I thoroughly enjoyed Everybody Loves Raymond back in the day. I also enjoyed Ray's short stint on Parenthood. Ray brings forth a much needed break from the current social and political climate that seems to dominate many headlines these days. It was great to be able to relate and laugh about family stuff rather than be annoyed by a political agenda. The timing of his set and humor is something you either like or dislike...IMO there's no in between. The walking portion of the special is very well done; it's unique and entertaining. Definitely worth the watch if you're a fan of Ray Romano!
Ray Romano makes comedy seem just like it's riding a bike. He has such strong material and his timing is still as perfect as ever. It's interesting because, being about the same age, I can relate to the material of getting older and it makes it easier to know what's coming when a guy that is there can make such great jokes out of it. I hope to see more stand-up from him.
And by the way, if you see a review on here of someone griping that 'half the show is him just walking down the street saying hi to people' - ignore that. It's about 6 minutes out of an hour-long show.

I've never seen one second of his sitcom and I've only seen his premiere stand up on Letterman back in the day. Threw this on by chance and found myself laughing all the way through. I'm only about to be 40 but I can identify with so much of his family/marriage humor. Too funny, loved it!!
