Gad Elmaleh: American Dream

Gad Elmaleh is apparently a big deal in France. In the US he is not well known but he is very funny. This pre-covid stand up special from NYC is very amusing. The best part of his act involves playing with the differences between French and American culture, with a contrast of his Moroccan routes. He is a very keen student of culture and language. His exploration of American dialect and conversation is good. He is a very physical and facially funny man. I recommend this one.

3/16/18. Elmaleh is quite funny. He understands American humor as only a Frenchman can. Nice storytelling makes for good comedy, and he didn't need a potty mouth to get you laughing. Worth catching!
