Why don't they just use zombie blood to cover themselves up and sneak through like in other episodes. Maybe the new characters don't know about this but Morgan sure does and he is the one who is leading the group.
After all the problems they went through with zombies and even worse, they can't deal with one mad woman. They are acting stupid all the time and it's exhausting.
It has had its ups and downs this season, but overall I have really liked the mood of this season. With no cartoonish antagonist to fight, the feel of day to day survival has returned to the show, which I prefer over the formulaic end-of-level-bad-guy that both TWD and FTWD has suffered from. The characters has started to grow on me and with some really good acting (the brewer especially in this episode) throughout the cast, the feel of anyone matters has emerged again. Major character deaths will hit hard.
I also like the fact that Morgan, due to his firm believes and stubborness, is starting to be seen as the teams leader, which he doesn't seem to thrive with. Great episode!
Honestly I thought it started out as a decent spin off. This season is now getting consecutively more horrible (and not in a good way). I can't even finish MM 54, I'm done R.I.P.
Been awhile since I've watched the show, so I thought I would give it another go and see if it's gotten any better. It hasn't.
Martha's motivations are ridiculous and this episode really does nothing to help us understand them. Sure, some people didn't help her when she needed them, but the first helpful person she runs into she kills... ya that makes sense. And how is she like a stealth ninja with those walkers on a stick that she uses to kill people?
Sure, maybe former English teachers get ninja training, but how does keep the walkers quiet until they can jump someone and bite them. There are many more things to complain about in this episode and the series, but I'll leave it at that for now.

- TriviaThe episode title refers to mile marker 54 where Martha's husband Hank died.
- GoofsAt this point everyone knows, especially Morgan, that walkers will eventually loose interest in an area such as a building if they can't see or hear anyone inside. So all they had to do was stay away from the hospital windows and keep quiet and the herd of walkers would start to loose interest and dissipate. Yet Morgan keeps standing right where the walkers can see him through the windows.
