    Catatonic

Bring Me Home was an unusual experience. Despite the slow-burn pacing of the plot, I found myself gripped from start to finish, several moments in particular leaving me frustrated in the best way. Lee Young-ae portrays the mother of a missing child, her state being practically catatonic for the majority of the film. I can see how some might find this tiresome, but the emotion that bled through had me captivated. At no point in the film did I see the actress, I saw the character in her heartbroken state, and I couldn't look away. There were moments that I would change, as the tone shifts back and forth throughout the film, but it didn't negatively impact my experience enough to write this one off. I would recommend it to anyone interested in a slow-burn rollercoaster of Korean cinema.

The acting skills are brilliant but the plot... meh

Lee Young-ae's performing skills really tell that she's a good actress! However, the plot wasn't making much sense. Felt like it could have been much better if the plot were altered.

    Ok

Not as grt as some but it's a good movie and the idiotvreview who says about the actress being bad I'm afraid he needs to carry on watching cartoons

    VERY strange and unbelievable.

What cop is so dense that he doesn't take a picture of a suspected, abused and abducted child? I turned off the movie before being insulted any further. Could've been a really good movie but the gratuitous play on emotions was way too thick.

    A Very Well Built Movie

This is one of the few movies I found totally great after reading bad reviews. They have done a great job at background score.
