This was quite possibly the best episode of the entire season, or even the series. A fantastic piece of entertainment that had my undivided attention for the entire episode. The first half of this episode was brilliantly written, as we see a short scene with each of the characters who end up meeting their fate at the end of the episode. The last 20 min was absolutely astonishing, emotional, scary, anxious, gripping, incredible entertainment that no show besides TWD is able to deliver. Where the hell do we go from here for the finale?

Hmmm ....
I must admit ... That ending was better than the comic version. Better than any ending TWD has had thus far. Kudos to the writers on this episode.
Did they just Game of Thrones us?
I have read the comics in which this TV show has been adapted from, and I can't have been the only one who was expecting to see 'that' character up there, but instead, the Walking Dead finally grew some and gave us a very gutsy and intense episode that is one of the best in the entire series.
The Calm Before pulled a stunt I would only have expected from a Game of Thrones episode and it would glorious. This series has seriously been going down hill the past few seasons, and with the exit of Rick and Maggie, I expected the show to fail miserably. But ever since the introduction of the Whisperers, the show has managed to find its footing, something they haven't done since season 5. The Alpha is up there with the Governor and Negan as the best villains in the show, she is truly wonderful and intimidating to watch.
This was a fantastic episode, and I hope the show manages to keep this up, because it is needed as a few years of boring. Maybe it's the show's new leadership? Whatever it is, it's working.
