Alpha, supported by her group of Whisperers, demands her daughter Lydia and offers Aiden and Luke in exchange for Lydia. Daryl is forced to accept the swap but when he looks for the girl, he learns that Henry has released and escaped from Hilltop with her. Meanwhile Ezekiel and Jerry convince Carol and their group to go to a movie theater crowded of walkers to get the projector lamp to bring to the kingdom to have a theater for the community.
"Bounty" is an episode of "The Walking Dead" divided in two segments: in Hilltop, Alpha and the Whisperers trade with Daryl and his group, but Henry (always Henry) will certainly get the Hilltop people into trouble with his attitude. It is time to get rid of this stupid character. The other segment with Ezekiel, Carol and Jerry is a full of action filler. My vote is eight.

The sacrifice for the projector bulb shows just how different the kingdom is as opposed to the whisperers. Even during troubled times they sacrifice so much to make some children smile. whereas the whisperers are feeding the walkers babies.
it helps justify Connie and Henry's uneasy feelings and overall puts things into perspective.
Was very happy with this episode. Love it when they take the time to show these small moments. increases the realism and makes it relatable to the viewer.
All seasons have filler episodes. Hell breaking bad had an episode where all they did was hunt down a fly. Thats 40 minutes of trying to get a fly. its a great opportunity to give another directer a shot, thus introducing fresh directing and an insight into the smaller picture that would certainly get overlooked in a movie. Sure they can risk going wrong but this one was great.

Wow ... just wow ... What a good episode, Samantha Morton is totally amazing, I really enjoyed the development of Alpha, in the same way for Carol and Ezekiel. God... The baby scene surprised me a lot.
I can really empathise with the screen writers on how much writing they had to do when the cast got 'so' big... really building an in depth, psychological story to the viewers.
This is a perfect adaptation of the comic villain Alpha-her presence, with no action whatsoever commands attention. She'd totally take Negan's bat. (I love this actor)

- TriviaSamantha Morton did actually shave her head for the role of Alpha.
- GoofsThe baby left for dead by the Whisperers (later named Adam), who is rescued by Connie, was crying loud enough to attract the walkers, with his mother unable to calm him. After Connie picks him up, there are several shots of him shown with his mouth closed and appearing calm and content.
