    Horrible monologue

I do not understand the people saying the monologue should win an award. After bingeing the show I almost had to quit watching it was so horrible. Incredibly forced acting, doesnt add much to the episode, and even the filming doesnt fit the rest of the show at all. One of the worst things I've ever seen on tv. And the rest of the show is so good.

    Emmy-worthy performance by Gina

Her performance throughout this entire episode was spectacular!!

    Gina's monologue...wow

Absolutely incredible acting by Gina Rodriguez!!! Her eight minute monologue in the middle of the episode is phenomenal. Honestly I believe it should have received (or at least been nominated) for some kind of award. Not that awards are everything but just some sort of recognition. I rated this episode a nine based off that monologue. Not to mention that she directed this episode as well. Bravo Gina. The plot of this episode is very telenovela or soap-y, as the show is. The only reason I gave the episode a nine instead of a ten is that the episode itself falls a little flat in comparison to the monologue.

    Oh the feels!

Gina Rodriguez's 7 minute uncut monologue was, I believe, her best scene ever. It was funny and sad and gut wrenching and pure. Her acting was so real, and the fact that it was filmed in single shot made it even more amazing. This episode was really good, but she made it great.

    Incredible 7 minute monologue

Gina Rodriguez outdid herself! This episode was filled with emotions and Jane's 7 minute monologue captured all of them perfectly. An uncut scene like that is already beautiful but this was downright amazing! Bravo on everyone's performance; especially Gina.
