Mustard O' Mine/Shopping List

This episode has polar opposite segments: "Mustard O' Mine" is funny, "Shopping List" is stupid on a grand scale. What's so stupid about it, you may ask? Mr. Krabs sends SpongeBob on a wild goose chase, just so he could shop for Krabby Patty ingredients without Plankton following him around. Sandy, who went along for the ride, rightfully beats up Krabs up for making them go through those difficulties for nothing, especially at the cost of her tail and submarine, Matilda. Instead of admitting his wrongdoing, Krabs dumbly says that he deserved that, while gliding into the sky. As for Plankton, he puts all the fake ingredients together, while Karen warns him not to add the ghost dandruff. When the fake ingredients explode, he glides into the sky with Krabs, saying a dumb response too. The result is a mindless episode too crazy to care much for. The next time these restaurateurs get the urge to take over someone else's errands for their own buffonish amusement, they should listen to Sandy and/or Karen. Those two "gal pals" are the only characters who make any sense around this insane asylum!

Mustard O'Mine is a very funny episode and so much better than ink lemonade. Season 11 is truly one of my favorites seasons.****

Mustard O'Mine

I think this is the weaker of the two, but it's still very good. I liked the creative wordplay and interactions between SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward. It's rare to see all three of them getting along. I also liked the old miner. He wasn't a bad guy or crazy, he was just trying to protect everyone due to the dangerous place the mustard was located. A good lesson to listen to people but I think the miner should have told the truth at the beginning. Then again, it wouldn't be SpongeBob without some crazy coots and their wild stories.

Shopping List

One of my favorite episodes of season 11. We got solid jokes and innuendos, a fun adventure with Sandy and SpongeBob, Plankton struggling throughout the story only to pull a 180 on our heroes, and even an appearance from the Flying Dutchman. But the moment that cements this as fantastic, Sandy beating the living daylights out of Mr. Krabs for sending her and SpongeBob on a wild goose chase and Sandy losing her submarine and the fur on her tail for nothing. It was so good, I made that scene my aunt's text tone. If you want to see Mr. Krabs get a well-deserved whooping by everyone's favorite squirrel from Texas, you'll LOVE "Shopping List"

10/10 + 2 for the beatdown.

Mustard O'Mine is not complete Squidward torture, unlike ink lemonade. Its funny, and is a pretty great episode for season 11 Spongebob.
