Saw a kid explaining how a drill is connected to a pulley using a belt? Then see him hammering a rim where he attached duct tape?? Finally into a backstory of him building building a project "when he was little". Currently 15 and 12 when he built it???
That was it. Could not take anymore. Don't get me wrong; I'm sure this will be great for the 'tween' crowd. If your are over 18 then don't bother.

This was the direction the show should have continued from and not replacing the original guys. Using the next generation to continue these discoveries makes a lot more sense. And they found a great mix of kids.
Being a huge fan of the original series I have to say I was really happy when I saw a preview for this show. Adam returning and a new Mythbusters show? Heck yes! Sure it may be aimed more at children. Sure I would like to see a little more Adam now and again. But I enjoyed watching all the episodes so far. A lot of the myths are unique and interesting and I like their approach at tackling them. If you're a fan of the original series, I say don't expect it to be a clone of it. Don't come in with huge expectations. If you can do that then I feel you will get a lot of out of it.
We loved Mythbusters and love this show, too. I like seeing these kids that are outgoing, successful, and brilliant. Adam is perfect with his enthusiasm - sheesh he's a kid himself. My students would love the show, and I know it would inspire them. We watch it because we like it - and our kids are grown.
I had no hopes for this junior version, disapointed as I was with 'the search for'. Boy, was I in for a surprise. Im 4 episodes in now, and Adam seems totally in place with the kids, releasing his inner child as well, the chemistry between him and thecrest is great. The 'myths' are more like experiments but still fit the concept and are ececuted really nice. Its fun and interesting for kids BUT also for adults like me. In fact, I like these small scale experiments better over the last original mythbusters seasons when things got way to big and most ended in exploding stuff. This junior version leans more on science and I love it for it :)
