Omg this is just embarrassing, the acting is just weak, the plot is ridiculous, it's gotten "woke" and it's plain boring and corny. It's the product of defunding the Aussie arts combined with "progressive" politics that just creates unwatchable nonsense...shame to see John Jarret stooping so low, what a shocker, Australia can do better surely !!!!!!
I saw one review that accused people who like this movie as being a relative of one of the actors. I am not a relative of anyone and I honestly liked this movie. It is lighthearted, unique, and interesting. I am not sure why people are bashing this move. This wasn't made with a few million dollar budget or from an enormous movie house, but it doesn't need to be, to be thoughtful. Watch it if you'd like a break from the movies that bring you down or mimic the harshness of reality. I found this on Tubi so sorry to anyone that paid to watch a B/C movie. I've watched bad acting and this wasn't it.
I usually love Aussie movies but this was just appalling.
At first I thought it was going to be just another stereotypical cheesy romantic "comedy". However, it turned out to be the most cringeworthy movie I've seen. Boring, predictable and the acting was that terrible.
The only part we found funny (hilarious actually) was the comically absurd facial expressions of Melissa in the cafe scene at the beginning, it was like watching a comedy sketch from Fast Forward. Her acting was so awkward I felt like I was watching a school play.
I seriously had second hand embarrassment watching the whole thing.

What a fun film, as Romcom's go this one kept me guessing and laughing, great performance from Steph Tidwell. Storyline has some moments of really! But the overall theme of love being something we should embrace no matter the cost is endearing.
Doppy concept poorly executed by a amateur script. Disjointed story. Pathetic acting. Makes 'Home & Away' soapy seem like an Oscar winning movie. I've seen better school plays. We thought it was never going to end.
