    Why DC, why?!

This show had so much potential: the swamp city atmosphere, the mystical voodoo aspect introduced in this episode, the jump scares and the gruesome violence that the show doesn't shy away of showing, a great main character in Abby and her dynamic with the people of city because of her tragic past, a really good cast of talented actors... So many positives points; but DC decided to cancel a potential great show, to give us multiple seasons of woke Bat Woman; make no sense.

    Best DC show yet

So DC cancelled this show after 1 episode as it wasn't CW enough. No wonder DC can't make decent movies as their exec's obviously doesn't understand what fans like

    Everything is practically perfect

The only issue I have is that they don't follow proper protocol in the hospital scenes, aside from that, the acting, the casting and the writing are so solid. Even the creature design and CGI are fantastic

    Who hired the casting?

Because I want to thank that person. I thought at the 1st episode, it was a nice job hiring Will Patton for the show, he's some quality actor still. Then I saw Ian Ziering, and thought, nice cameo, or possible a role after Sharknado, he's working again! But easily my favourite appearance here is from Kevin Durand, who until now played Mr Babyface from what I saw, but here he completly transformed. I hope this'll give him more roles, because it's something rly distinct from Lost, and Wolverine (I liked him in both product, only those were practicaly the same role).

Otherwise the show keeps the quality. Sure, Swamp Thing itself doesn't appear much, but given this is a very different medium, the live action, I can go with it, as well as all the new interpretations of the character.

Would be good to know what's the going behind the scenes, because if it's just some money, a crowdfunding might work for this once. If it is studio vs director, need to know where's the problem, thus the solution would be a) finding a new director asap b) the executives lay back and let the artist work!

PS: even more good casting was Alec Holland, and the voodoo lady. They added a certain factor to the show.

    Amazing

I don't know why people rate this in 1 or even less than 7 because it's an amazing show

    • Goofs
The old man hands over a recently discarded medical bracelet made of paper to the doctor. When a paper bracelet is looped around a person's wrist, the fibers loosely re-align into that shape. When removed, it will maintain a portion of that curvature. The bracelet he hands her, however, is unequivocally flat, as one would be if never looped on a wrist.
