Dressed to Kill

So in this episode Greer makes contact with Bonalde.

Max gets around with fake ID and reveals that he's also.

At least there are some soldiers on the ground and Ryan and Greer aren't with them.

Ryan finds Max and a great rooftop chase ensues. Ryan the analyst is obviously a parkour expert as well as being a super field agent.

Glad Max got away really.

These episodes are really not impressive to me.

The writers felt the need to remind the audience how wicked one of the bad-guys is. They added an otherwise pointless sequence to drive that point home. That's lazy and poor-quality storytelling.

First season was great. Nice characters, well balanced, portrayed and a sense of teams from both sides. That was lost in second season very quickly, but this episode is the one where they completely lost it. Suddenly Venezuela's government can outsmart all superpowers, achieve technology far superior to the US Military, and Jack has become a sort of Holmes Bond, who is the only one capable of understanding threats, pursuing enemies, even when been literally surrounded by allies. This is just lazy writing...

While mostly enjoying this I would like to point out there is no way in hell a one eyed man could do that rooftop run. Depth perception takes binocular vision, it just does.

You just need to think about the fact that they went out of their way to hire Uber. The guy has superpowers or what? Not only he was supposed to be the only driver of a boat that apparently anybody can drive when he's not available, but he gets his rifle stolen by a child! Literally, a child game... that's kind of funny to me, although I don't think the script was aiming at funny.

Also the fact that super assassin Max travels in "disguise" was kind of funny, not to mention the rooftop chase scene. I am sure nobody would believe that it's actually possible to conduct such a chase, but that's why it's called "fiction".

Worst part is the Venezuelan soap opera, I mean the plot with the brave female and the nasty men.
