Daisy 'Skye' Johnson: Looking for this?
Sarge: You wanted to wake me up? I'm awake. This is what I am.
Daisy 'Skye' Johnson: So I was right. You and Izel are the same. Both monsters.
Sarge: Call me what you want. Doesn't make any difference. Give me the sword.
Daisy 'Skye' Johnson: Not a chance.
Sarge: Do you really think you can beat me?
Daisy 'Skye' Johnson: Yes.
[raises sword]
Daisy 'Skye' Johnson: This time, I'll actually kill you?
Sarge: Go ahead. It'd be easier than doing it myself. Come on! What are you waiting for? Do it! Kill me, Skye! If it works on me, it'll work on her! But you have to do it now before I get any stronger.

Melinda May: So, you never even questioned where you came from?
Sarge: Why would I? I didn't know I had someone's face until I got here.
Melinda May: And now that you do?
Sarge: Well, I don't suddenly feel like a different person.
Melinda May: These, um, echoes as she called them... they've gotten clearer - the memories?
Sarge: I never used that word. It's always just been a sense - a feeling in my bones.
Melinda May: You said that they all felt real.
Sarge: What's real is the time I spent chasing Izel across the galaxy - with my crew, as myself.
Melinda May: Trying to get revenge for something that never happened?
Sarge: It's not like the lies you tell yourself are any more true. You want me to be someone I'm not.
Melinda May: I never said that.
Sarge: You didn't have to.
Melinda May: I recognized you, yes. But can you really say that there's no part of you that recognizes us? If you have his memories, can feel what he felt, I'm hoping that you will...
Sarge: I'm not the cure for your loneliness!

Daisy 'Skye' Johnson: So, the powers, the memories - they all got stronger after she shot you?
Sarge: I thought you didn't care about my memories.
Daisy 'Skye' Johnson: Please just answer the question.
Sarge: This is new. The memories - I always felt them, but they started coming into focus when I was lying on that table. I can see them for what they are now. For better or for worse.
Daisy 'Skye' Johnson: And one of the people that you can see more clearly... is me?
Sarge: It doesn't mean anything. You were right. I'm nothing. I'm not your guy. I'm not that rage, either. None of it belongs to me. I'm nothing.
Daisy 'Skye' Johnson: I think you're something.
