I'll give it a 10 just for the axe scene! Sooo touching and soo amazing! I'm in tears!
Ohhhh I have tingles. Amazing scenes where Chloe asks what we have all be wondering. The bit with the axe was stunning. Graham as the priest who certainly has something up his sleeve and Linda's big news!!!!! I just didn't think I could love this show more, I was wrong.
VERY VERY bad acting from the * detective * .
This season isnt good so far

So happy with how season 4 is unfolding, with various interesting stroylines unfolding already in these first two episodes. I also really like Chloe's reaction to Lucifer really being the devil, thought it was alot more realistic than Linda's reaction.
Our main partnership still isn't the same. Chloe and Lucifer are awkward and missing their old chemistry. The basic murder wasn't anything special either and Amenadiel's story has gotten stupid.
This episode showed promise though. There were a few good moments and not as much stupidity as episode one. It wasn't better enough to get a higher rating, but I'm glad I hung in there.

- TriviaThe piano solo Lucifer is playing just before Father Kinley arrives is an original creation from one of the composers for Lucifer, according to Music Supervisor Justin Kamps.
- GoofsThe title on the newspaper article on "preacher" Williams's death says he "dies" at Lux. However, as from the attached picture he was clearly murdered, a real newspaper would have used the more accurate and attention-grabbing terms "killed" or "murdered" in the header. One of the article headers on Pierce says he "is eulogized 'One of the Best'." Newspaper headings generally avoid "is" phrasing both to create immediacy and save space - it would have been written without the phrase "is eulogized".
- Quotes
Chloe Decker: [holding axe to Lucifer] If I pushed this into your chest... it would kill you?
Lucifer Morningstar: Yes.
Chloe Decker: Because I'm close to you?
Lucifer Morningstar: Yes.
Chloe Decker: But you jumped in front of it anyway?
Lucifer Morningstar: Yes. And I would do it again. And again. Don't you know that, Detective?
