This film is a combination of stock footage from two separate films, Date with a Kidnapper (1976) and Lisa, Lisa (1977), both of them made by the same director, Frederick R. Friedel, and starring the same actor, Jack Canon. Friedel lost the rights to both of these films when he sold them to Harry H. Novak and never got any money from the original theatrical releases of either one of them. He ended up editing the two films together into one film and releasing the result of this editing to theaters in 2007 under the title "Bloody Brothers". Some said that combining the two films into one film made it even better than when it had been two films. Severin Films got the rights to all three of these films and officially released them on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray on December 15, 2015. This film, however, was only released as a special feature on said home video versions, while the other two films that it was made from originally were both the main features on them.
