Some may claim this is a parody; but, unfortunately, even if that was true, it was a very bad parody. It was uneven with no redeeming qualities at all. The only bright spot was the lovely inn. The only way this dog could have been salvaged is if they made it into a silent film, while showing clips of the inn.
I like pretty much all made for tv romance movies. I've watched 100s but this one was unfortunately sooo bad! The plot was so patchy and unrealistic and bad. Acting was over the top. I'm writing this review to make sure no one else wastes their time.
While there are actors, writers, directors, producers, who are rejected for far better scripts, acting, and production value, these drecks got PAID FOR THIS? And Showtime is paying to air it?
Come on Man! Women are not this stupid and so desperately in need of romance to waste their time on this!

This movie was not good. The writing was atrocious, the editing was awful, and the story line was choppy. Things were happening but not explained. I'm not a Banker or Hedge-fund manager so I didn't understand exactly what happened to her money except that it was stolen.
I wanted to watch a cozy christmas movie and I thought I was getting that but the whole entire movie was pretty bad. The editing was horrific, there were scenes that were dubbed, strange cuts that would appear that had nothing to do with the current scene, and lastly, bad acting. I think Hallmark or Lifetime does a better job for sure and that is saying a lot! And the story...omg. It didn't make sense, I didn't like the ending, it didn't make sense about how they had to save the "Shakespeare Chateau". I felt the characters needed to make amends clearly before they would reach a resolution, which was choppy at best...no way would I or anyone would "fall in love" with someone after they stole their money. I just don't get it. Overall, I was entertained but let down by the way it ended, but my boyfriend and I laughed throughout because of how bad it was, we both agreed it was like watching a student film. Anyway, I'd skip it, and watch something else.
