Solid Episode That Keeps the Momentum Going

Really liked this one. Episode 5 keeps building the story in a way that feels steady but still gripping. The detectives are great to watch-Toni Collette and Merritt Wever have such an easy chemistry, and their scenes are some of the best parts of the show.

It's not the fastest-paced episode, and a couple of moments drag a little, but overall it does a good job of moving the case forward while still giving us time with the characters. By the end, you can feel things starting to come together, and it makes you want to jump right into the next one.

This episode had a lot of jokes

Which was surprising to me considering the rest of the series. But it was also welcome. Because the jokes were actually funny, and they didn't outweigh the serious plot itself. Just a little unexpected. Still a good episode.

Detective Karen Duvall: You don't sound crazy to me. You sound like someone who's been through a trauma and is looking for a way to feel safe again and in control. And there is nothing crazy about that.
