List of problem's I've experienced with this game:
1: Neighbour AI gets easily stuck on objects sometimes making it impossible to get to certain areas of the house which are required to complete game.
2: Physics are to broken.
Example 1: walked on a box got flung into a wall and instantly died.
Example 2: neighbour ran over a box which flung him towards me making me get caught.
3: Hitboxes are often larger then they need to be causing the previous dot points to happen this is both a good a bad thing as the train tracks surrounding the house in act 3 would be a little bit harder to get and stand on.
List of good things I've experienced with this game:
1: I thought it was kinda funny when I saw the neighbour fling himself off a balcony and into the front of his house.

A simple stealth/horror game for players to enjoy. Picked it up for the switch and it's great. If you ever just want to relax play this you'll get quite a kick out of it.

HELLO NEIGHBOR (2017) was a fun game though not really extraordinary in my opinion. I personally played this with a group of friends (it's not a co-op or multiplayer game per say, but it was pretty fun to pass around the group). The story was very subtle and the game mechanics were pretty fun. It was a cat/mouse, hide-n-seek style game that was interesting because of the games AI which learns from the player, changing up its methods and responses to your actions. I really enjoyed that aspect as it made things much more unexpected.
I honestly didn't think of it as a horror game, but rather a bit of a sillier game with some suspense elements. It definitely has some darker subtext going on, what with the premise being about a young boy that finds his neighbor highly suspicious during a time when children are going missing. This game wasn't a traditional horror game and often I forgot it was one, supposedly, but there were some definite susensful moments scattered throughtout, and kudos to the game devs for trying to break the jaded horror mold. However, I think I would be disappointed if I had bought this with the intention of playing a more legit scary horror game. Overall it was a fun game. Not as bad as everyone says for sure.

Sorry, but this game just isn't good. It's contrived, illogical, frustrating. The controls are wonky, I've encountered several A-Bugs. It's unpolished, even for a small independent developer.
Don't waste your time.
