Pacifica

This is the kind of show from which nobody should expect too much. Sure, they have their ebbs and flows or good writing. This episode is okay. Yeah, sure it can be preachy, but it's just a show. Not a commentary on a liberal agenda or a repudiation of conservative values. It's just a conversation one or two writers had with themselves to provoke thought and, perhaps, stoke some empathy for those with whom we may feel we have little in common (metaphorically speaking). "If you're wondering how they eat and breathe, and other science facts, repeat to yourself, 'It's just a show, I should really just relax.'" Wise words from the Satellite of Love.

Season 1 - 4 was really great, but season 5 went completely off the rails. It seems the writers had a massive brain fart when they wrote the 5th season episodes. The acting from the main cast was amazing as usual, the filming locations was outstanding. Maybe, just maybe, a spin-off series of Z Nation would do better.

Now I know why the show was cancelled. Such leftist preachiness. So disappointed.

Gone is the humor and goofiness. Replaced by Vox or Salon editorials masquerading as scripts
