    Cuts killed the episode

Not sure when (script, filming or editing but I suspect the last), but trying to make everything fit in 45 min killed the complete story. Things happen without context, stories are left in the middle and there is a gap of at least 30 min of episode that was cut from the final (Netflix) version.

Takes a fun source and turns it into blandness

The comics are fun and interesting, not least for the atmospheric art and underlying humour. Everything from the comics is drained and somehow turned into a turgid, insipid programme. There are no believable characters and it all seems an empty facade. The warmth of the comics discarded for by the numbers box ticking.

    What?!

This has to be one of the most anticlimactic endings of any tv show I've ever watched. The storyline is chopped up and doesn't show the resolution of anything. Just boom, it's over. I mean, is it just me or does it never say how Fred dies?! Disappointing ending.

    The October failing

Great idea wrapped up in what's probably the trifecta of worst script, worst direction, and most pathetic plot. This series lacks continuity, authenticity, depth, sincerity, and watchability. They got me interested with the idea in the first episode, mr. And Mrs. Smith vibes, but slowly the plot crumbles.

If Disney wanted a live action, violent hallmark film and hired Dawson's creek stuntmen to write the storyline, had modern family gaffers write the dialog, and my 4 year old daughter direct, this is the film you'd see.

I'm cracking up watching this alone when it's supposed to be the most serious, meaningful, tender parts, literally busting a stitch at the inane mix of plot holes, plot advancers, non sequiturs, and absolutely inexcusable casting simultaneously interweaving with some decent monster killing scenes and sfx.

    Loved it

Actors found their voice. Great episode very emotional. Can't wait for season 2

Fred Allen: Eternity being psychologically fucked with by the man I killed. This is great, this is perfect.

Omari: That's the difference between humans and our kind. You think that life is finite, but it's not. It's the opposite. Energy - warlock, human - everything lives on. There's no end. What does that mean? It means there's a window.

      Fred Allen: A window?

Omari: For you to go back and fix things. That's why I'm here. Do you think I wanna hang out with you?
