I wasn't impressed. The acting was .....alright. But the story was lame. Not interesting at all and quite predictable.
And it was incredibly short. Why? Obviously because it just lacked content. I don't see why all the high ratings for this are here. It certainly doesn't make sense to me.
3/10

This is a thriller with an underlying mystery and some horror elements. I really liked it because the lead actress made an insane world seem real. The story was so unusual and it took me on the main characters journey, I wanted to know how she was going to figure everything out. I thought the musical score was excellent. I don't want to spoil, but I'll say that the secondary character was electrifying. Nice to click on a film I've never heard of and be pleasantly surprised. This is one that if they made a sequel I would actually watch it.
This nasty little thriller will keep you guessing from beginning to end. The main character, Polly, goes through personal tragedy and heartbreak only to be confounded with unusual apparitions, and the enveloping sense that forces beyond her control are out to destroy her. Jessica Bell gives an amazing performance as Polly and ensures the audience is sympathetic towards her dilemma every step of the way. The story has many twists and surprises with a real humdinger of an ending! Nice directorial touches and terrific music only adds to the ambience of what is happening on screen. Highly recommended.
The poster makes it seem like an 80's Horror film. It has some of that, but it's more of a mystery/thriller. I liked the A. I. element. I'm giving it a high grade because none of the movie was predictable and I hate predictable. It kept me guessing until the end which was the best part of the movie. It starts a little slow but builds the whole way. It's was a fun watch.
ACTING is a 9, the woman playing the lead is believable, her "friend" at the end gives a solid performance as well. I'd give the acting a 10 but there was a less than great performance by the husband in the beginning, kinda bland. STORY is a 8, it kept me watching all the way to the end which is rare for me, I turn off a lot of these indie movies at under 20 minutes and the end to this one was worth the wait. SCORE is a 6, it was fine but nothing special. CINEMATOGRAPHY is a 9, actually this is a strength of this movie, it looks good. SPECIAL EFFECTS is a 7, I mean, some was eye-popping and some just passable. DURATION, it's pretty short, I don't mind that. I have to say, it was different! I call this a popcorn-movie because it's a fun way to spend a Wednesday night when you're looking for something unusual.
