It's not just about relationship.
Even though is about relationship, it doesn't drag. The review down there that doesn't care about anything lmao why even bother watching.
Still only minutes/episode of sci fi. It's mostly about relationships.
They have prioritised relationships to such an extent that the few minutes of sci fi aren't intriguing, in the least!
They have bored the hell out of this series. I don't care about the missing passengers, anymore.
I don't care about the voices.
I don't care about the experiments.
I don't care about flight 828.
I don't care about the family planning.
I don't care about the kid's headaches.
...obviously, the writers don't, either.
I will confess that now I play Boom Beach on my tablet, while this is on in the background. I will watch a few more episodes, but I'm definitely cringing at the thought, instead of eagerly anticipating.

Point of No Return
Manifest's "Point of No Return" again borderlines on the absurd, giving us little to no storyline progression and lots of filler. How does Michaela saving a suicidal passenger actually progress the mystery in any way?
They're doubling down on the filler because Jeff Rake wants to turn what little substance they have into a series with multiple seasons, and it just doesn't seem like it's going to work.

I am the Air Force One Angel of Death
Tied with Off Radar for favourite episode so far. I feel the characters are really getting stronger intrigue and personality wise. Plus, it's cool to see Ben and Vance working together. The possibility of non-passengers being harmed by higher forces is also a very tense idea that makes me worry for the wellbeing of some of the side protagonists.
