I love the Pam Grier type 'heroine' in this movie! In a time of wokeness and woke horror comedy, i found her performance to be very refreshing! Here we have lots of gay humor and horror!! Sword wielding desert people and murder!!!
The movie was fun. The end was well deserved! 6/10.

There is no good comedy in this film. There is no good story. There is no good plot twist.
The film is certainly strange. The plot starts out a little, well, strange, but I think the film really holds it's own and comes together.
Had Ingmar Bergman made this very film, people would be raving about it. But personally, I think it was more engaging than a Bergman film. It had a sense of humor about itself.
The acting was good. Really good! I'm still dumbfounded that Jaime Lee Curtis won an Academy Award for her role in Everything All At Once. If she earned that award, there are at LEAST two deserved award for actors in this film. Namely Damian Joseph Quinn, who plays Alex, and Elizabeth Grullon who plays Stephanie. Other actors were good, but these two were real standouts.
The story takes a few minutes to get into, but once you catch on to the dynamics, it gels. It's got a lot of surprises. Things you don't expect because they're the usual routine or storyline of other movies.
Clearly, judging from the User Reviews, this film isn't for everyone. But if you enjoy something off the beaten path, I'd recommend giving this one a spin.

This movie was absolutely brilliant. It's a low budget masterpiece with impeccable acting. The plot takes a few minutes to accept, but I don't think it was designed to be A Beautiful Mind. It was designed to be funny, escapist comical journey, and it hits on all cylinders. Damian Quinn is a clear star in the making. This movie is a sleeper, and will be a cult classic for years to come. Get on the bus early on this one.
Road Head hits the road with good intentions but gets lost in a sea of mediocrity. The film struggles to find its rhythm, delivering a lackluster experience for most of its runtime. Despite this, it's not an entirely disastrous journey. The storyline meanders, leaning heavily on tired tropes and predictable moments that fail to ignite much excitement. The attempts at humor often fall flat, leaving viewers craving more depth and originality.
However, just when all hope seems lost, the film takes an unexpected turn in its final stretch. The ending emerges as a surprising beacon of humor, injecting a much-needed dose of laughs that the rest of the movie sorely lacked. It's a saving grace that rescues the film from being a complete write-off.
While Road Head might struggle to keep viewers engaged throughout, its redeeming quality lies in the humor of its conclusion. For those willing to endure a bumpy ride, the payoff at the end might just be worth the journey.
