The plot was just usual like other 100 Tamil films in the same genre but the screenplay was written nicely which keeps us somewhat engaged as it reveals stuff sprinkled over the course of the film and the final reveal of the main character was good as well, although it was expected, still it stands to surprise us at least in a slighter way if you're watching the film w/o guessing anything but just going with what the film presents.
Seeing Prabhu deva in this role was anew but it was the usual characterisation played by many others as well and there were so specific touches of him as such that makes it interesting to watch & all, the surprising fact is that there were almost no dance sequences at all aka his skill not portrayed at all and totally wasted.
The heroine of the film does nothing and comes on screen as a showcase piece to show that the film has got a female in a good light as well.
Overall, the plot of the film being very old doesn't do justice but the decent screenplay makes it a one-time watch for sure.
