The Lost Treasure

Agree with all the negative comments, but gosh darn , these folks went out and made a movie. It did have some nice scenery. I'd expect the actors and actresses all learned a bit and would expect next film to be a bit better. I mean, come on, we all think acting is easy. This shows that even people with some training still have things to learn. And if it was a takeoff on adventure movies, it actually worked well. The actress who played the native woman was believable. All the actresses were attractive. The big henchman was big and mean looking. Look , all in all , even though it wasn't a great , or maybe even good movie, I stayed with it .

5 min in. Honest, that was trying. Utterly atrocious.

I've just come from watching Lapsis (2020), another low-budget film. That has a story. That has subtle nuances that are really interesting. It's a really good film.

TLT is a total waste of effort. I criticise actors looking like they are told to do this and that. I see that in the latest Dune (2021). Horrible acting. This is way, way, way, way, way, way ... way worse.

I watched this movie the entire way through and I feel that was in itself an achievement. This is just so very bad.

The characters make no sense. It's like Indiana Jones meets community theater and the director has a steampunk fetish. Yet it's all taking place in hawaii?

The story line is pretty bland. I guess if it was executed better it would it would qualify for maybe some deep cable network.

Above all the acting is probably hands down the worst. It's hard to explain, but it's like an alien race trying to pretend to be humans. It's so unnatural watching this group of people interact it's unsettling.

This seems like another one of those pet project movies that someone decided to self-make on par with Rocket Hunter. At the same time it make Sharknado look like a dazzling piece Oscar worthy cinema. Anyone rating this over a 1 clearly either knows the cast or has a extremely prudish nature and probably doesn't watch normal television to compare this against anything.

How are we not offered a refund under implied warranty of merchantability? This isn't a movie. It's a filmed group of individuals. That's it. There is no story, no plot, no acting, no direction, no cinematography, no set design, and most of all, no talent on display anywhere. It's safe to say none of these folks would get past the front door of a professional film production.

The only real accomplishment here is it is not easy to make Hawaii boring...

Oh, and to family and friends giving ten stars for this effort: at this point in their lives they've received enough participation trophies. Time to be honest.

Oh boy, I'm getting sick of watching home made videos. The best thing is their poster. The directing is poor, most of the actors are still at drama school, low budget due to producer lost all the fund at the casino........ I bet the high rates are from their friends, relatives and what ever their home made company is.

Stay out of it unless if you're high ....
