Lucas the Spider

LUCAS THE SPIDER was such a cute, family friendly series. My 4 year old nephew really enjoyed it but it also held my attention. Just light-hearted and silly adventures with Lucus the Spider, as well as his friends Findley the Fly, Avacado the Dog, and Bodhi the Chameleon.

"Lucas the Spider is an animated character that appeared on YouTube, created by animator Joshua Slice. Now with his own TV series, the show keeps its highly realistic 3D animation as well the curious and kind-hearted-as-ever spider."

I love spiders myself, but this show made them extra cute and appeal to even the anti-spider or arachniphobic crowd of people. Maybe spiders will get more love with shows like this. Cute, rainy day kind of show.

I LOVE LUCAS!!! And I want him for MY VERY OWN!!! :D He is adorable and the kids voice is SO PERFECT and makes him EVEN cuter!! I like this spider more than REAL people!! :o

I'm a long time Arachnophobic, but when I see Lucas, all I want to do is hug him and let him boop my dogs noses. LOL

Adorable, when are they gonna give this a star a tv show, instead of all the redundant boring anime?? :(

Me (34) and my youngest son (3) LOVE these little shorts! He used to be terrified of spiders and since he first saw Lucas he is no longer scared but does try and talk to them instead of running away

This is my three-year old's favorite show currently. It has a catchy intro and appealing theme. The storyline is unstructured, and it is easy to pick up and follow. The characters are funny and have their own quirks that add to the show. The episodes are not too long so my son can easy watch one before lunch and put the screen down to enjoy his meal. It is light-hearted content and simple. The characters voices are a highlight from what I noticed. This along with Gabby's Dollhouse are the two main shows my three-year-old enjoys. In terms of what each episode is about, it seems to be relatable as my son does not act out and say, he saw it in the show. Recommend giving this a go for your young ones.

We initially put Lucas the Spider on for our young son as we were looking for an appropriate TV show he could watch occasionally. He absolutely loves it, and now my partner and I are hooked. It's on in our household so often that I can recite most episodes! It's such a cute TV show, the characters are really wholesome, and it's actually funny (there's bits of adult humour sprinkled in that would go over a child's head). Each episode has a nice lesson for children, and the theme tune is really catchy. I would highly recommend to parents of younger children. Plenty of episodes to watch, whether on YouTube or Netflix / NowTV.
